The SST INTERBUS SLC 500 scanner connects a SLC 5/03 or higher processor to INTERBUS I/O. In asynchronous mode, the SLC accesses data whenever necessary, and the bus runs either as fast as possible or at a fixed scan rate. In synchronous mode, each bus scan is initiated to execute in parallel with the SLC processing scan.
