Schneider Electric Mexico will supply all Medium and Low Voltage electrical equipment for the cryogenic plants number 5 and 6, to be located in the Burgos gas processing complex （CPG）, situated in Tamaulipas （Mexico）. A global contract for which Schneider Electric will also install, supervise, test and make the full start-up of the electrical equipment package. Last January, PEMEX started to build the 5 & 6 cryogenic plants. Each one will process more than 200 million cubic feet of sweet wet gas on a daily basis. The CPG Burgos processing capacity will represent 26% of the total gas production of the whole country by 2008, increasing by 48% the natural gas production capacity of the complex. Ica Fluor, one of the most important contractors in the country, will be managing this very important project, after building the 1, 2, 3 & 4 cryogenic plants, where Schneider Electric Mexico also supplied the Motor Control Centers and the Power Link Intelligent lighting boards.
